The temperature rose sharply this Wednesday night with Orquestra Bamba Social & Tiago Nacarato and IRMA on stage at Hippodromo Manuel Possolo.
Pilgrims and locals couldn't resist dancing and joy became the universal language.

On the eve of Cascais receiving Pope Francis, when the history of the municipality is written in the present, the spirit that rages in the streets, on the stages, in the songs of the young pilgrims and that is contagious to the entire community of Cascais.

The WYD Cascais Festival has been a catalyst for this spirit of unity and sharing through music sung in Portuguese. This Wednesday night was no exception, with Orquestra Bamba Social & Tiago Nacarato, preceded by IRMA, infecting the audience with their tropically inspired rhythms. The samba and bossa-nova in the voice of Tiago Nacarato and the Bamba Social and the sound with influences of Angolan music by IRMA convinced and won over the audience present at the Hipódromo.

Tomorrow, August 3rd, the concerts on the Hippodrome's big stage continue with Orquestra Juvenil da Maré (7 pm) and Rita Rocha (9.30 pm).
